I keep waiting for this month to slow down a little. You'd think with a week off that I would have a lot of down time, but THAT didn't happen. It was a great week with family and friends.

I turned the big 4-0 this weekend. Hubby threw me a little get together with some of our friends. Of course, I told him there would be absolutely NO black balloons, NO over the hill, NO grim reapers. I'm certainly not a doom and gloom kind of person when it comes to birthdays.

So he got me a rainbow-colored unicorn cake instead. Ha!
